The European Union National Institutes for Culture in Japan express their sympathy and solidarity with the Ukrainian population and the victims of the war. To support Ukraine, we presented a special event to give artists a voice and a platform for the unyielding Ukrainian spirit and creativity.
On 15th March artists who have been invited by twelve Cultural Institutes and Cultural Departments of European Embassies staged songs, films & poems as well as messages from activists and journalists to express their sorrow, their anger and their willingness to resist any military aggression.
The event took place in hybrid format in the hall of the Goethe-Institut Tokyo and the whole program was streamed online by twitter and Facebook channel.
