"Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg," currently being performed at the New National Theatre, is a co-production with the Salzburg Easter Festival and the Saxony State Opera Dresden. During the talk, the opera director of the New National Theatre Tokyo, Kazushi Ohno, will mainly explain the musical aspect of the opera, and Heiko Hentschel, assistant director, who is currently in Japan, will talk about the new production in the light of the history of previous productions. Atsuya Funaki, music critic and board member of the Richard Wagner Society Japan, who has subtitled the opera in Japanese, will lead the conversation to explore the current possibilities of "Meistersinger" from different perspectives
