Mobile Arts & Literary Festival
The
Jalada Mobile Arts & Literary Festival is a hybrid between the adventures of art and literary tours and a traditional festival programme.
Jalada is deeply interested in using art to capture diverse African experiences in multiple geographies, promote cross-cultural interchanges between art communities, and enhance cooperation and integration in the East African region.
The festival will celebrate African culture in its richness and vibrancy, by showcasing new art to new audiences through an exciting programme featuring panel discussions, master classes, workshops, film screenings, contemporary dances, poetry, spoken word, music, experimental art installations, nature excursions, and school visits.
