Angela Makholwa Moabelo and Patricia Kihoro

Artistic Encounters brings together the work of two different artists in one space and at the same time. The artists that will be part of Artistic Encounters will bring their individual art to the stage while speaking to that of the artist they are working with to create a new work. The fourth edition will feature Angela Makholwa Moabelo and Patricia Kihoro.

Angela Makholwa Moabelo is a South African author who started her career as a journalist. In 2007 her first novel ‘Red Ink’ was published and was the first South African crime thriller with an African female protagonist. Angela has gained critical and popular acclaim as crime and women’s fiction writer for her contribution to African literature and has been nominated for several literary awards.

Patricia Kihoro is a singer, actress, radio presenter, improv comedian and sporadic blogger from Nairobi, Kenya. She loves coffee, laughter, books, photography, African music, Kitenge fabric, her phone and smugly cruising past frustrated motorists stuck in traffic, while on her scooter.
