The Yearning of the Dispossessed
Our social constructs, created to protect us and organize societies, have failed us. Our rules and laws have entrapped us. We have been dislocated from our environment, and estranged from ourselves.
Those inclined toward observation and introspection often attempt to deconstruct existing social constructs. Contemplating the fabric of existence, they deal in the currency of purpose and truth. Repelled by capitalism and the governments that revere it, they envision the alternatives. There is an aching in them. It is unyielding. It is a quest for something more meaningful than the social codes that we blindly consume. But, what is this something?
