Continuing with our successful event series in 2019, Artistic Encounters comes back with an exciting programme this year. It brings together the work of two different artists in one space and at the same time. The artists that will be part of Artistic Encounters will bring their individual art to the stage while speaking to that of the artist they are working with to create new work.
They will also bring their different audiences together and show that art can be better when it crosses genres. Among the participating artists will be painters, poets, musicians, some writers and performers. In April, the session will feature Nigerian writer, Kola Tubosun and musician Chris Adwar from Kenya.
The session will be moderated by Zukiswa Wanner.
