Up to Date Information: COVID-19

In light of the current situation, we are following the instructions of the Lebanese authorities and doing our part in slowing the spread of the Corona-Virus.
Our institute in Beirut will remain closed to the public until further notice. However, we continue to work from home and can be reached via E-Mail or through our Social-Media channels.

Dear students and exam participants, dear customers and friends, we would like to thank you for your patience in the current situation. Please find below some important information on our language courses and examinations.
As we are receiving a high number of customer requests, we would like to ask for your understanding if getting back to you might take slightly longer than usual sometimes. We are trying our best to assist you as quickly and as efficiently as possible!
Our staff are working from home and strive to answer your inquiries as quickly as possible.


The Lebanese government have announced the closure of all educational institutions until further notice and have halted in-person courses. Goethe-Institut Libanon is following these instructions.
Our courses have been shifted to online trainings. New registrations are currently not possible.


All exams are cancelled until further notice. As soon as Goethe-Institut is able to offer in-person exams, alternative dates will be made available. Everyone who has registered for an exam will be personally informed.


For the time being all cultural events have unfortunately either been cancelled or postponed. Please keep yourself updated via our regular communication offerings (Newsletter, Social Media). 


While our library is closed to the public, you can use our free eLibrary “Onleihe”. All borrowed media will be extended until 2 weeks after reopening.
