The wild West-Berlin of the 1980s from Punk to Loveparade – narrated from the perspective of the British musician and music producer Mark Reeder, who left Manchester’s music scene in 1980 and moved to West-Berlin in the age of 20. Fascinated by electronic music made in Germany, he encounters the West-Berlin subculture and becomes an insider of the avant-garde and squatter scene. Using documentary and fictional footage, B-Movie portrays the last decade of the walled-up city in which art, music and chaos were booming.
