ENCHANTED BODY – UTERUS 1 – STRATEGY (Fatima Mazmouz) | W/RITE TO STAY (Mona Moon) | THE FEMINISTS WHO WRITE (Dima Mikhayel Matta and friends)

Fatima Mazmouz (MOR, FRA)

This performance deals with the status and the body of the "Witch" as an enchanted and magical one. In Morocco, the witch has a real social status. It is a resistance weapon in its own right. The performance shows the different rituals that structure the session of disengagement, healing ... transforming each gesture into a choreographic act / weapon of battle.

Fatima Mazmouz is a performance and video artist and photographer. Her artistic production THE VENTS OF SILENCE, Powers and Counter-Powers, focuses on the different implicit and invisible relations of power rooted in our societies.
