"I am a witness to this crisis and the extent to which its roots have impacted the economic and political stability of my home country. I was able to get close and document the various faces of this current situation and the stories of individuals who have been directly and indirectly affected. My photographs are compiled together to tell a story as a series, and even when viewed individually, they show different perspectives and moments of the protest that reveal the current crisis in Sri Lanka." - Lojithan Ram
