The fifth edition in a series of free electronic music workshops initiated by the Goethe-Institut and
Border Movement in association with Jambutek Recordings .
Go back to the basics with an intensive three-hour workshop for beginner level producers and those with an interest in pursuing electronic music. The workshop will be conducted primarily with Ableton Live. Topics covered will include:
- Introduction to synthesis
- Basic functionality of Ableton Live
- Working with midi clips/ software instruments
- Working with samples
- Using the Drum Rack
- Basic workflow methods and best practices
- Overview of basic effects/processing
- General advice for working with Ableton Live
