Two former terrorists have lived underground with their adolescent daughter for years. Somewhere in Portugal they manage to establish a quasi-legal identity until one inattentive moment causes everything to collapse. On the run again, they end up in Germany. In the meantime, their daughter has fallen in love. The parents rob a bank but are caught while trying to escape. A political film, but also a film about a young girl growing up.
