Celebrating its 10th year, the Goethe-Institut Sri Lanka, Cultural partner of the Chamber Music Society of Colombo (CMSC) is honored and privileged to present one of the great violinists of the world today - Midori.
Along with a pianist and eight of her students including two who are already on faculty at universities in Long Beach, California, and in Shanghai, the ‘Midori Violin Studio Project’ will engage in a residency in Sri Lanka in March 2018. A string workshop for qualified violinists and a very special recital featuring five top violin virtuosos will be held on the 15th of March at 6:45pm at the Goethe-Hall.
