By students of the Jaffna University and Nicholas K. under the mentorship of Anne-Kathrin Klatt
German figure theater director and mentor Anne-Kathrin Klatt returns for the third time to continue her engagement with students of the drama and theater arts of the University of Jaffna. After collaboratively bringing her idea “Birds who forgot to fly” to the stage in early 2018, this production continued to travel to various schools on the east coast and was presented at the Colombo International Theater Festival 2018 fascinating young and grown-up audiences.
Building upon this experience a group of students around theater maker Nicholas K. will now be creating an entirely devised theater production grappling with current global issues. Anne Klatt will be working with the group to bring this fable to the stage of the Jaffna University on the 12.09.2019
