Kamal, a middle-aged banker, murders his wife by slitting her throat. He sets on a journey, in order to burn and dispose of the body which is hidden in the boot of his car. The journey takes him from the capital city to the very southern end of the country.
His journey is interrupted by the arrival of a mysterious woman who sneaks into the car, wielding the same knife he used to commit the murder. For some unknown reason, she too has a need to run away. At that point, the vehicle as a fast route of escape is more important to her than the fact that it is driven by a murderer.
We discover that the woman is running away from her lover. Kamal and the woman’s lover share similarities in their physical appearance. Kamal seems to have crashed into a parallel timeline, where he lives another life.
