The cities of Colombo and Kolkata joined hands through Goethe-Institut Sri Lanka and Goethe-Institut Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata to create a common virtual platform for those interested in pursuing higher studies in Germany. The Co-Ko Edu Fair 2021 is designed to bring together approximately 500 participants from Sri Lanka and Kolkata to assist them in achieving their academic dreams.
The Edu Fair will consist of German Universities, Organizations, German Academic Exchange Services of Sri Lanka and India and other important information related to higher studies in Germany along with virtual tours of student cities in Germany where participants will have the opportunity to easily gather and experience first-hand information on desired degree programs offered by Universities and lifestyle in Germany.
Since we have entered a digitalized era of operation, we thought of providing a unique experience similar to a physical education fair for the participants through
Gather.town. It is an environment created specifically for the event with a gaming interface where the participants will be avatars moving in and out of stalls and around open areas, participating in info-sessions and interacting with each other along with engaging in entertainment activities.
