Presenting Relativity (Mein Ende. Dein Anfagng), directed by Mariko Minoguchi. Edin Hasanović who plays the main role in the film celebrates his 30th birthday on April 2, 2022.
Edin Hasanović was born in 1992 in Bosnia-Herzegovina. His mother fled with him to Berlin, where he grew up. Edin appeared before the camera for the first time while he was still in school. His real breakthrough came with the drama Schuld sind immer die Anderen (Shifting the Blame) that earned him a Best Actor nomination at the 2013 German Film Awards. Further accolades followed, including a Golden Camera in 2016 as Best Newcomer, the Best Actor award at the German TV crime drama festival and, in 2020, the prestigious Grimme Award for a leading role in the Netflix series Skylines.
"Relativity implies that the future and the past have the same validity for the present," states the physicist Aron at the beginning. Shortly thereafter, he dies in the arms of his girlfriend Nora during a bank robbery, whereupon the film, an exciting love and crime drama, undertakes to prove his theory of how everything is connected, the past with the future.
The film is available for free on Goethe-on-Demand for the whole of April 2022.
