Goodnight Colombo!
The Film Forum curated by Anomaa Rajakaruna is a monthly pre-view format for film makers and industry professionals to view unreleased, new Sri Lankan feature and short films together. The screenings are followed by an open discussion with the film makers and other professionals moderated by Anomaa Rajakaruna.
Goodnight Colombo! is an Agenda 14 anthology film created by nine aspring directors, based on their experiences and changed realities during the early phases of the Coronavirus pandemic. Good Night Colombo was shot with a minimalist approach to cast and crew and produced in close cooperation between Agenda 14 and the directors Nipu Fernando, Lanka Bandaranayake, Krishan Kodithuwakku, Muvindu Binoy, Fathima Shanaz, Sumudu, Athukorala, Danushka Wijesooriya, Yoshitha Perera and Rahuul Ratnaayake. This film has been shot entirely on a smartphone.
The production of Goodnight Colombo! was enabled through the International Relief Fund of the German Foreign Office, the Goethe-Institut and other partners.
Due to our Covid protocols, we can currently host 80 people in our hall. As the event is not ticketed, seats will be given on a first come, first served basis. We highly recommend you to wear a face mask throughout the screening.
