French-German co-productions

Nowadays, French-German cooperation is important, including political and economical relationships. That is why, the Alliance Française de Kotte in Colombo and the Goethe Institut invite you to their French-German co-production film serie starting on 28 April, 2017. In deed, the ever-growing impact of German-French cooperation was one of the key issues discussed at the German-French Film Meeting in the German town Saarbrucken in November 2016.
Moreover, Arte Journal is a German-French channel and some movies are produced in cooperation specifically for this channel. The following movies have not common theme but common co-production, it is the creation of a co-operation between two European countries. The list reaches from timeless classics to contemporary productions among all genres.
