Environment

Film Series (c) Goethe-Institut

The environment contains nature and every life on the earth. As a result of the advancing consumer society, the exploitation of nature is increasing. For convenience, human always develops new inventions, without paying attention to the effects. For cost reasons, cheap one-way plastic is produced, which stresses the environment, since it takes more than 100 years to biodegrade.
Without sense and respect, human exploits the earth and its resources, destroys eco-systems, whole land sections and pollutes the world's oceans. The consequences of this are natural catastrophes and climate change. The mistreatment does not stop even from the own species. People are forced to work and starve under the worst conditions, while in Western countries tons of food is thrown away.
The Goethe-Institut presents the film series “environment” from the 04th August 2017 until 08th September 2017. The aim is to create awareness and to promote a sustainable use of the environment.
