The Goethe-Institut Sri Lanka is excited to begin a new partnership with the Atelier Kandy by bringing films on different culture related topics to the art & architecture eager audiences in Kandy. This new partnership begins with a screening or architectural documentaries from Germany.
The first evening will feature documentaries on Walter Gropious: Bauhaus, Richard Rogers & Renzo Piano: Centre Pompidou and Santiago Calatrava: Satlolas TGV
Atelier Kandy has its own Gallery & a cafe that portrays an abundance of art & architecture of Kandyan era. The Gallery displays all forms of Art, paintings, sculptures, artifacts etc. Artists are invited to display their work, and all proceeds go to support underprivileged young artists of Kandy and to create better opportunities.
