Music for Piano Trio
The Chamber Music Society of Colombo, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut in Colombo, is excited to announce an upcoming recital titled "Music for Piano Trio." The performance will feature compositions by Gabriel Faure (Trio in D minor Op. 120), Niels Gade (Trio in F major, Op. 42), and a piano trio version of Maurice Ravel's 'Pavane pour une infante défunte.' The recital will showcase the talents of principal musicians from the Chamber Music Society, including Johann Pieris on piano, Lakshman Joseph-de Saram on violin, and Rochana Ramanayaka on cello. This musical event will take place on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at 7 p.m. at the Goethe-Institut Hall in Colombo and will be moderated by Lakshman Joseph-de Saram.
