The exhibition PARALOGICAL MACHINES: WHEN IMAGES MEET US IN SPACE AND TIME features internationally known media artists whose works have been shown in  biennales, exhibitions and museums around the world. They are Charles Lim, Erika Tan, Kenneth Feinstein, Rajinder Singh, Tintin Wulia, Nye Thompson vs. UBERMORGEN, and the All Women’s Networked Jam Session (AWNJS) featuring artists from Germany. The exhibition includes new works as well as pieces shown in international venues such as the Venice Biennale and the Melbourne International Arts Festival.

The artists explore new perspectives on the relationship between the image or artwork, the medium and the viewer. Their aim is to move away from the conventional way of looking at artworks and to create an interactive dialogue between the artwork and the viewer. The works engage with the viewers and their world raising new questions and encouraging the viewers to find their own answers.

Paralogical Machines takes place at Wei-Ling Contemporary Gallery, Kuala Lumpur and is supported by Pro Helvetia and the Goethe-Institut Malaysia.
