Robotics and Namibian Youth
The Goethe-Institut Namibia in collaboration with the MindsInAction group present fun and educational activities for learners in Grades 3 to 7 on the application of robotics to problem solving.
The MindsInAction Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Programme uses Lego Mindstorms EV3 robots to educate young learners about the application of the disciplines to programming and practical problem solving.
Learners will be exposed to the application of robotic technologies and learn the fundamentals of technology and engineering, and the principles of programming. Working in teams, learners have the opportunity to earn leadership skills and apply their minds to critical problem solving.
The programme runs for two hours per Saturday from 23 June 2018 to 15 September 2018. Times to be announced.
Participation costs 1 500 NAD per learner.
