Though Cameroon and Nigeria are neighbors and share a lot of similar cultural values, this potential has not been exploited for the collaborative knowledge and advancement of either country. Consequently, though they share a border, they know little or nothing about each other and hardly engage in literary collaborations that could benefit both countries.

For Nigeria and Cameroon, the intersections are vast, and these stories deserve their moment. Hence this auspicious project focuses on immersing Nigerians in the Cameroonian experience and vice versa. Our objective is to stir literary thought in the direction of non-fiction with the hope of producing narratives that will ignite a change in attitude towards non-fiction writing.

"Cross Country Conversation: Lagos to Limbe” involving participants of the Nigerian-Cameroon Exchange programme as well as their mentors. The aim of the partnership is to promote conversations about the cultures around Africa and also to curate non-fiction writings that reflect on these cultures, modernity and individuality.
