Enjoy an evening with the American jazz band 'Camille Thurman & The Darrell Green Trio' on the rooftop of Goethe-Institut Nigeria.

As jazz is a music genre that connects millions of fans worldwide across different cultures and countries, Goethe-Institut Nigeria invites Jazz lovers to a rooftop concert, presenting "Camille Thurman & The Darrell Green Trio", which has been invited to Lagos by the U.S. Consulate in cooperation with American Voices.
 
Camille Thurmann is a singer and saxophone player, who is acclaimed as a 'rising star' (Downbeat magazine) and 'first class saxophonist that blows the proverbial roof off the place' (All about Jazz). She has thrilled her audience at music festivals in the United States, Australia, Russia and Italy. Camille Thurmann has worked with notable Jazz and R&B icons such as George Coleman, Roy Haynes, Dianne Reeves, Wynton Marsalis & the Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Terri Lyne Carrington, Jon Hendricks, Pattie LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Louis Hayes, Russell Malone, Nicholas Payton, Jacky Terrasson, Alicia Keys, Lalah Hathaway, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu among others.
 
For more than two decades, Darrell Green has played as a drummer and prolific sideman with leading jazz artists. Besides jazz, he also involves in other genres such as Latin and West African music. Darell Green also performs as a soloist and amazes his audience with his effortless, masterful technique and captivating rhythms; in the United States, Europe and Japan, he is one of the most requested drummers. He currently works with his trio that has performed worldwide.
