After three months of intensive research, Ojudun Taiwo Jacob in collaboration with Victoria Simone and Illuminatetheatre Productions present the Nigerian premiere of their new project “What If”, an experimental film collage and live performance work based on a decidedly African perspective of the Berlin Conference (1884-1885) and the exploration of their own continuous narrative of colonialist mentality.

Ojudun Taiwo Jacob was artist-in- residence of the 2018 residency programme "Berlin// Lagos", organized by the Goethe-Institut Nigeria in cooperation with Center for Art and Urbanistics (ZK/U) in Berlin, the cultural office of local government Berlin Mitte, SAVVY Contemporary Art Space Berlin and the Arthouse Foundation in Lagos.
