ELECTION TALKS

POLITICAL ELECTION TIME in any country of the world is the single most important period of that nation's existence. This statement is especially true for Nigeria, the native country of the most populated Africans in the world, which also now boast of the most populated young electorates in Africa. In the past decade, the world has witness Nigerian youths invade entertainment, sports, literature and technology with varying revolutionizing results.
How has the newly acquired youth-oriented political culture influenced or fail to influence the outcome of the elections in Nigeria: What is the future of the Nigerian politics from here?
Goethe-Institut Nigeria hosts a one-day panel discussion on the just concluded general elections in Nigeria. The pro and cons of the outcome; the wins and losses of the Nigerian political players.
SPEAKERS: OPE FOLARIN, ADEWALE MAJA-PEARCE,
BARRISTER LIBOROUS OSHOMA, WEMIMO ADEWUNI, VICTORIA IBEZIM-OHAERI,
MODERATOR: MICHAEL NWANKPA
