Showing this Saturday on the big screen: Neptune Frost by Saul Williams and Anisia Uzeyman
“A gorgeous, unclassifiable hacker love story set against the backdrop of a dreamlike Rwanda, it conjures a mythical sense of postmodern identity in poetic sci-fi terms that would make Octavia Butler proud.” –
IndieWire
The screening will be preceded by a Keynote presentation by Fabian Offert, Assistant Professor in History and Theory of Digital Humanities, University of California Santa Babara. 5pm.
This event is organised as part of Dreaming New Worlds - a project of the Goethe-Institut Nigeria designed to explore the confluence of Art and Technology as well as the implications of new technologies for artistic and cultural practices.
