Wollten Sie schon immer Ihre eigene Künstliche Intelligenz trainieren? Oder haben Sie bereits die Befürchtung, dass die KI irgendwann die Welt erobert? Dann ist dieser Workshop für Sie.
In diesem Beginnerworkshop lernen Sie ganz paxisnah anhand von interaktiven Beispielen, in denen sie etwa Ihrem Computer beibringen, wie er Emotionen erkennt, was Maschinelles Lernen ist.
Der Workshop richtet sich an Personen ohne technische oder Programmier-Vorkenntnisse. Bitte bringen Sie einen Laptop mit Webcam mit.
Nach dem Workshop bleibt auch noch etwas Zeit, um sich bei Bier, Wein und alkoholfreien Getränken gemeinsam auf unsere Menschlichkeit zurückzubesinnen.
Um die Zahl der "No-Shows" möglichst gering zu halten, erheben wir als Pfand vorab einen Eintrittspreis. Sie erhalten den Eintritt jedoch vor Ort zurück, wenn Sie an dem Workshop teilnehmen.
Der Workshop wird auf Englisch stattfinden.

Über den Workshopleiter: Tomo Kihara
Tomo Kihara ist ein kreativer Entwickler, der spielerische Maßnahmen entwickelt, welche komplexe soziotechnische Problematiken behandeln. Er arbeitet mit Organisationen wie der Mozilla Stiftung und Waag zusammen, um die Auswirkungen von autonomen Entscheidungssystemen in der Gesellschaft zu erforschen. Seine Projekte wurden international am WIRED Creative Hack Award in Tokyo und im London Design Museum ausgestellt.

Machine Learning for Absolute Beginners
Have you ever wanted to train your own AI? Or are you scared that some AI will take over the world? If so, this workshop is for you. In this workshop for beginners, participants will get a hands-on understanding of what machine learning is through interactive demos such as training your computer to detect multiple emotions. This workshop is targeted at people with no technical background and requires no coding experience. Bringing the laptop with a webcam will be required to run some of the examples.
Refocusing on our humanness, after the workshop we will gather for beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
The entrance fee is a deposit for attendance with which we would like to reduce the number of no-shows. You will get it back from us if you attend the workshop.
The workshop will be conducted in English.

About Tomo Kihara
Tomo Kihara is a creative developer making playful interventions that challenge complex socio-technical issues. He is working with organisations such as the Mozilla Foundation and the Waag to explore the implications of autonomous decision-making systems in society. His projects have been exhibited internationally at the WIRED Creative Hack Award at Tokyo and at the London Design Museum.
