On Tuesday 17th September at 6pm there will be a celebration of the 150th birthday of Karl Wolfskehl in the Goethe-Institut in Wellington. An impressive line up of academics and artists will present different facets of the life and works of this German Jewish author who spent the last 10 years of his life in New Zealand. We shall also launch a new English language biography of the writer at the event. Copies will be available for sale.
