Kamalapina Women in Media – Theatre Collective in cooperation with Goethe-Institut Philippinen presents
Ophelia’s Shadow Theatre (Mga Aninong Gumagalaw ni Ophelia), an educational event for children. The puppet show will be held in selected Barangays in Quezon City from
November 8 to December 8, 2018.
The puppet show is based on
Ophelia’s Shadow Theatre a children's book written by German Author
Michael Ende (The Neverending Story). The book is about Ophelia, a theatre prompter who loses her job and suddenly communicates with shadows. It was translated and turned into a puppet play by
Wilhelmina Orozco who also directs the performances that will be held this November and December.
