Intercultural Seminar for Philippine Nationals Joining their Spouses in Germany
This seminar forms part of the Asylum, Migration and lntegration Fund (AMIF) project and is aimed at Philippine spouses who will travel to Germany for family reunion. It focuses on intercultural issues the participants are confronted with when they live in Germany. They involve different communication styles and different concepts of family life, of time or of public and private spheres.
Through activities and discussions, the participants learn what can trigger critical situations and how they can be handled. The aim for the Philippine spouses is to better understand German values in connection with family life.
