Terms and Conditions
The contest is open to any Filipino citizen and permanent resident of the Philippines of legal age (18 years old and above).
Participants need to join the activities during the Gothe Institut Open House Event on August 31, 2019.
Participants must collect a total of six (6) stamps on the boarding pass which will be given to them on the day of the event. Three (3) of these stamps shall be collected from participating in three (3) events categorized as “Experience Germany” and three (3) more stamps should be collected from participating in three (3) games categorized as "Enjoy Germany". See table below for your reference.

Once completed, participants will need to fill out the boarding pass details completely. The participant’s name written on the boarding pass must be identical to the one which appears on her/his valid ID. The boarding pass should then be dropped in the designated dropbox located at the Info booth (see mapfor the exact location). All entries must be submitted before 6PM on August 31, 2019. Late entries will not be entertained.
Multiple entries are not allowed. Participants can only submit one boarding pass per person.
Three participants will be selected randomly as winners of the following prizes:
1st prize: A trip to Germany with allowance for 5 days for one person with a travel period between March 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020
2nd prize: Adidas Gift Certificate worth Php 10,000
3rd prize: Gift certificate for Brotzeit Philippines worth Php 5,000
Claiming of Prizes
Winners will be randomly chosen through a raffle draw during the closing remarks of the event and should immediately inform the organizers that they are present when their name is announced. In case of absence, another winner will be drawn. Winners should also be able to present a valid ID right after the announcement of winners.
The 2nd and 3rd prize will be given out to the winners immediately. The 1st prize winner will furthermore need to submit a copy of their valid government ID within five (5) working days after announcement (September 6, 2019) and can then claim their prize anytime starting January 2, 2020, by sending a copy of the necessary travel requirements (i.e. visa and passport).
Failure to present a valid ID as proof of identification will result in forfeiture. In case of such, the organizers will randomly select another person as the winner.
The organizers reserve the right to ask the claimant for further proof of identification if deemed necessary.
Technicalities for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize
The prizes must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winners are unable to use the prizes. The prizes are not exchangeable, non-transferrable and are not redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Any unused portions of any of the prizes will be forfeited.
Technicalities for 1st prize
The free trip to Germany includes one (1) round-trip flight + allowance for five (5) days for one (1) person with a travel period between March 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. Other expenses (accommodation, local transfers, visa fees, meals, etc.) shall be borne by the winner.
The flight route should strictly be Manila - Frankfurt - Manila. The selection of airline and stopovers, if ever, shall be made exclusively by the Goethe-Institut. The flights must be booked and ticketed at least 6 weeks before the intended departure.
The prize is considered claimed once written confirmations of the flight bookings to Germany are sent to the winner. There can be no changes made to travel arrangements, including name changes, once tickets are issued.
The winner shall be required to procure by him/herself the necessary documents (passport, visa, etc.) for him/her to be able to make the trip to Germany.
In case the winner is not able to secure a valid visa (if necessary) by November 1, 2020, the prize will be considered null and void.
Any person currently employed by or working with the Goethe-Institut on any contractual basis, extending to their relatives up to their third degree of affinity or consanguinity is disqualified from joining this competition.
