Manila Composers Lab
Pagtanaw is a four-part online concert series about love, nation, faith, and nature connecting viewers to the past while expanding sonic vocabularies through Philippine contemporary music. The online concert series features the
Ripieno Ensemble, a Manila-based chamber ensemble that specializes in Philippine and Southeast Asian contemporary music founded in 2015, in collaboration with Toothless Productions and Mu- waves Germany. Along with their repertoire of modernized kundiman arrangements, the series will feature music from National Artist for Music
Ramon Santos, composer and professor Jonas Baes, and the ensemble's artistic director AJ Villanueva.
Pagtanaw will be streamed from the
Facebook page and
Youtube Channel of Ripieno Ensemble PH
Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on June 23 to July 17.
