PASCH-GenNext 9.0 Film Festival 2017/18 Foto: Zoya Ahmed Conni is actually Cornelia and has an extremely bad start at her new school. Already from the very first minute, she is on war with the Director Möller, labels the children in his school as little nerve killers. But because the old school was closed, she can atleast rely on her friend Paul and her brother Jakob in the new situation. As a surprise, on top of all she receives a dog from her parents as well as her cool grandma Marianne, whom she immediately names Frodo. But Frodo’s origins will soon determine Conni’s everyday life: Frodo is actually called Laurentius and belongs to the Director Möller. The director is to get a highly endowed advertising contract through his dog, thanks to which he could finally get his new villa. The fact that he let his dog stew in a closed car, irritates Conni. Together with the old and new friends, they swear to help their Frodo and put the guilty director in his place. But Conni & Co. need all sorts of support in their endeavor.

PASCH-GenNext 9.0 Filmfestival 2017/18 Foto: Zoya Ahmed The story of 11-year-old Felix, whom nobody believes has "shrunk" the universally-hated school Principal Dr. Schmitt-Gössenwein to a height of just 15 centimeters. Even he does not know how it happened and whether it maybe has something to do with the ghost of the school's founder. But he now has the problem on his hands or, more accurately, in his backpack, because that is where the mini- principal is now and she is still ranting and raving. Together with his friend Ella and against his rival Mario and the latter's father, Felix has to try everything to get her back to her normal size. If only she would just stop being so annoying!

Once again, the well- matched and inseparable Rico and Oskar have a new, exciting case to break, one that takes them this time to the Baltic Sea. Old man Fitzke has died, leaving his

beloved collection of stones to Rico. The boys discover that the most valuable one of them all has been stolen. Their true detective instincts are now in top gear! Even better, the grown-ups are away on holiday in Sri Lanka, so that’s too far off to prevent the boys doing some real

detecting. Of course, this being Rico and Oskar, there is far, far more to the case than first meets the eye.

More information on screening timings can be obtained on request from the Goethe-Institut Pakistan.
