Goethe-Institut Pakistan is supporting Human Rights through Cinematography: Film Festival 2018 in collaboration with United Nations Pakistan.We are showing 6 best films at Goethe-Institut Karachi from 1st to 5th December 2018.


The occasion is the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on the 10th of December 1948 by the UN and this year its the 70th anniversary.This is a joint event by the UN information Centre and the EU in Islamabad, teaming up with several foreign and Pakistani institutions to screen a selection of human rights related films in 10 cities!


1st December, 7pm: The Cleaners (Hans Block, Moritz Riesewieck, Germany, Brazil)

2nd December: 7pm: Zahida (Seemab Gul, Pakistan)
                         7:30pm: 17 and sentenced to die (Asim Rafiqui,JPP, Pakistan)
                         8pm: Dunkey following European dream (Syed Hassan Zaidi, Pakistan, Serbia,Italy)


3rd December, 7pm: Freedom for the wolf (Rupert Russel, Germany)

4th December, 7pm: What the wind took away (Helin Celik,Martin Klingenböck,AT,TR)

5th December, 7pm:Stranger in paradise (Guido Hendrikx,Netherlands)
