The pre seminar casual meetup on 12th February 6.30pm is with Stephen Kovats and Wolfgang Spahn: hacktivists from Berlin managed by Atteqa Malik, chair of Karachi Biennale Trust Global Outreach Program. Aim is to begin an exchange of ideas and identify networks to promote the curriculum developed the next day.
 
The working session on 13th February 10am to 4pm at Goethe Institut will be conducted by Atteqa Malik and Stephen Kovats. Stephen will begin the session by describing his activities in South Sudan with Open Cuture Agency and Access to Skills and Knowledge (#ASKotec) with examples taken from low infrastructure and transformation regions.

Stephen Kovats
Stephen Kovats  runs the r0g_agency, the Berlin-based non-profit agency for open culture and critical transformation. Initiated in 2012 and founded as a non-profit company (German gGmbH) in September 2013 by Stephen Kovats and Susanne Bellinghausen, r0g_agency comprises a team of open culture specialists active in locations worldwide.
 
Wolfgang Spahn
Wolfgang Spahn is an Austrian-German visual artist based in Berlin. His work includes interactive installations, miniature-slide-paintings and performances of light & sound. 
For his creations he explores the abilities of hardware, constantly pushing its limitations in order to make it serve his artistic concept. Recently he developed analogue synthesizers as well as analogue computers and analog neuron networks and uses them to create abstract light-and-sound-sculptures.
