Root Foundation hosts a row of discussions on vulnerable/underprivileged groups of people in our society. For the series „Listen To: …“ we are going to invite representatives of the target group who share their experience and are open to answer our questions and contribute to our discussions. We are addressing a very sensible topic each time to create awareness, understanding and support for affected people.Sex Work is the act of engaging in sexual intercourse for money. Most commonly practised by women, Sex Work sometimes seems to be the only way of earning money for a living. The motivations and background of a Sex Worker vary enormously, yet their social status is below everything.
In our discussion, we invite you to exchange with a Sex Worker and understand her very own personal story and motivations. We would like to raise awareness on the fate of Sex Workers and find a way to support our guest.
