The Goethe-Institut in Kigali is looking for German teachers (f/m) to teach German as of now or later. Working conditions and remuneration are in accordance with Rwandan law and local custom.
Requirements:
-Native language German or C1 level for non-native speakers.
-Completed university studies in DaF, German language and literature, or a comparable qualification
-Teaching experience with a language course provider
-Experience with current teaching materials for DaF
-Experience with learning-oriented teaching methods and modern teaching technology
-High level of intercultural competence as well as strong teamwork and communication skills
-Willingness to conduct classes also in the evenings and on Saturdays
Responsibilities:
-Teaching German levels A1 - C1
-Preparation and wrap-up of lessons
-Correction of homework and tests
-Conducting central examinations of the Goethe-Institut
