This year for the first time Kaci Kaci Art Festival takes place in Musanze to celebrate the northern culture of Rwanda and to bring together traditional artists of the country. The festival takes place in Musanze, the capital of the northern district and features traditional as well as contemporary artists. There will be an Arts & Craft exhibition from local artists, as well as an Archery trainer and Urwagwa & ikigage tasting (banana beer & sorghum beer). The musical programme will feature three traditional dancing groups and Yemba voice from Nyundo Art & Music School. From Kigali the organizers invited Mani Martin, Jules Sentore, Patrick Nyamitali, Eric 1 Key, Moyize, Peace Jolis and MC by Eric Soul to share their music.
