Discussion Gender Equality, is it achievable?

When it comes to the question whether gender equality is achievable or not, public opinions differ a lot. For this, it is necessary to clarify what exactly it means to be equal. Or shouldn't we better talk about gender equity?
It goes without saying that aspects such as history and culture mainly influenced the actual situation and probably established many prejudices. Also, today’s social media have an important impact on the progress of the relationship between genders.
Judicially, gender equality already exists. But how is this given fact implemented by the Rwandan society? What if societal gender equality is inaccessible caused by the variety of circumstances every single person is born in? Wouldn't it be even more desirable to be able to offer a satisfaction of individual needs in our society?
