Direceted by Leo Khasin (2010/11) | Original German version with English subtitles, Colouor, 93 min.
In his film debut scriptwriter and director Leo Khasin depicts the conflict between Arabs and Jews, which here takes place on two floors of a Berlin tenement building. 14 year old Ali is new in the neighbourhood of Kreuzberg. As a refugee from Lebanon his toleration in Germany is touch and go. The hard boy from the neighbourhood set him a dare: to break into the flat of the neighbour, a russian-jewish immigrant. After doing this Ali has to pay redemption, to avoid a trial and the related deportation. In the beginning the two immigrants of different generations and cultures are treating each other with hostility. But little by little they are developping a mutual respect and get friends.
