Football magnate Franz Arnold travels to Addis Ababa as part of a campaign to promote his sport as a source of hope for the people. For the 12-year-old street boy Admassu, this opportunity to show his footballing skills is like a magical door to a future as a professional footballer. However, when Franz ignores him, the boy resolutely decides to kidnap the football boss in order to save him. But nothing works as planned, and suddenly they find themselves in the middle of the wilderness. While Admassu tries to bring Franz back to the city, an unlikely interplay begins between the two, in which the roles of the helper and the needy constantly change.
