What does it mean to be black in Germany? What does it mean to be a Black German? Since 400 years black people live in Germany, yet many White Germans still don't acknowledge their existence. For her documentary Afro.Germany, Afro-German journalist Jana Pareigis consciously gave up her principle of objective reporting and made a very personal documentary, in which she shares her experiences with racism. She traveled through Germany and met other black people living in Germany. Together they discussed what it means to be black in Germany.
