The documentary „Foto: Ostkreuz“ describes the story of success and harm of the Berlin photography agency “Ostkreuz”. The director Maik Reichert accompanied the members for about five years and showed that their picture have a political and ethnical stance that is more than only aesthetic.
The film profits from interviews with the couple Ute and Werner Mahler, who have been part of the agency since it’s foundation in 1990.
