Since forty years, the photographer Sebastião Salgado is travelling the world to search for traces of our changing humanity. In the meantime he becomes witness of major incidents which influenced our recent history: international conflicts, famine, mass exodus…
On his journeys he discovers unspoilt landscapes with wild flora and fauna. His new photography project is a tribute to the beauty of the planet earth.
His life and his work are being revealed to us by his son, Juliano, who accompanied him on his last journey, and Wim Wenders, a photographer himself.
