The
Mashariki African Film Festival is an annual cultural event that aims at bringing African Films to an African audience.
It consists of films screening and rewarding Rwandan and African Filmmakers and empowering them through workshops and masterclasses offered by local and International specialized professionals. The festival promotes, advocates for and collaborates with other cultural events in different member States of the East African community.
