We would love to announce the House of African Feminisms festival themed “Feminist Reflections on Love and Community-building”.
The festival will include a non-fiction masterclass by Laeila Adjovi, an advocacy workshop by Sylvia Apata. Speakers and panellists will include, Ayesha Imam, Tia Philomène, Sylvia Ilahuka, Tiffany Kagure, Laure Blédou, Laetitia Ky, Laeila Adjovi. Other interactive activities will include a feminist virgil on self-care, Q&A’s, book chats, art exhibitions, book exchanges and some dancing. It is our hope that through all the sessions there will be takeaway messages and something of interest for everyone regardless of their background.
