The International Day of Rememberance of the Victims of the Holocaust and the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp is on January 27th. This year we remember 75 years since the liberation.
In cooperation with IRIBA CENTER FOR MULTIMEDIA HERITAGE we organize a film screening of "Shoah" and an introduction to the approach of Claude Lanzmann of memory and rememberance. The Entrance is free. The events will take place at Iriba Center.
Schedule:
FRIDAY 24.1. AT 3PM: Introduction to "Shoah" and the approach of Claude Lanzmann on memory and rememberance
SATURDAY 25.1. 12:30 PM (after umuganda) - 6:30 PM: Film screening "Shoah" (first part) with a coffee break
SUNDAY 26.1. 8:30 AM - 4 PM: Film Screening "Shoah" (second part) with a lunch break
